UPTET 2021 postponed due to Covid-19

The government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to postpone the Uttar Pradesh Teachers’ Eligibility Test 2021 keeping in view the current surge of Covid-19 cases across the state.

Aspiring candidates must note that the revised dates will be announced after reviewing the Covid-19 situation in the state.

Earlier the online application for the UPTET 2021 exam was supposed to commence on May 18 and end on June 1. The last date to make the payment of the application fees was June 2, 2021. The release of the admit card for the UPTET 2021 examination was scheduled for July 20 and the exam was scheduled for July 25, which now stands delayed.

UPTET examination is conducted to fill up teacher vacancies in the state government-run primary and upper primary schools. Every year, around 10 lakh candidates appear for the UPTET 2021 examinations from across the state.
