IIT JAM 2022 Application Process to Begin

The online application process for IIT JAM 2022 will begin on 30th August 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for JAM 2022 on the website. IIT Roorkee is the organizing institute for JAM 2022.

Note

A candidate can appear in either one or two Test papers. However, a candidate can appear in two Test Papers only if they are not scheduled in the same session.

IIT JAM 2022

The JAM 2022 examination will be conducted online only as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all test papers.

JAM 2022 will have seven Test Papers, namely,

• Biotechnology (BT),
• Chemistry (CY),
• Economics (EN),
• Geology (GG),
• Mathematics (MA),
• Mathematical Statistics (MS) and
• Physics (PH)

All the seven test papers for JAM 2022 will be of an entirely objective type, with three different patterns of questions, namely

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ),
• Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and
• Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions

IIT JAM 2022: How to apply?

• Candidates can apply for JAM 2022 only through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal at the website, i.e., https://jam.iitr.ac.in. 
• Candidates have to first register on the JOAPS website, by providing their name, a valid E-mail address, a working mobile number, and a password.
