UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022 dates announced

UPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022: Union Public Service Commission has released the exam schedule of Engineering Services Exam (ESE) 2022 on its official website i.e upsc.gov.in.

As per the schedule notification by UPSC, the ESE prelims will be conducted on February 20, 2022, in two shifts i.e., 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm.

UPSC Engineering Service Exam Eligibility?

Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidates must possess a B.E degree or equivalent in the relevant branch.
Candidates who are yet to appear in the final examination of the B.E / B.Tech may also be allowed to appear in the Examination provisionally.

Age Limits

A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, of the year he is taking the exam.

UPSC Engineering Services Exam Format

The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:

Stage I: Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage I) Examination (Objective Type Papers) for the selection of candidates for the Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination;
Stage II: Engineering Services (Main/Stage-II) Examination (Conventional Type Papers) and
Stage III: Personality test

UPSC Engineering Services Prelims 2021-22 Pattern

The Engineering Services (Preliminary/Stage-I) Examination will consist of two objective types (multiple choices) questions and carry a maximum of 500 marks (Paper 1 - 200 Marks & Paper II - 300 Marks).
