NEET PG 2022: The revised examination date for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, NEET PG 2022, has been announced by the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

According to the latest schedule, the NEET PG 2022 will now be held on May 21 from 9 am to 12:30 pm at various test centers across the country.

NEET PG 2022 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma courses of the 2022-23 admission session.

NEET PG 2022: Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, and Syllabus

NEET PG 2022 will be conducted in a single day and single session as a computer-based examination.

  • The examination shall be a multiple-choice question delivered using a computer network (CBT) as per the scheme prescribed.
  • The exam will consist of 200 multiple choices and a single correct response in English only.
  • The time allotted is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  • There will be a 25 percent negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

NEET PG 2022: Marking Scheme:

The allocation of marks for each MCQ shall be as follows:

  • Correct response -- 4 Marks
  • Incorrect response -- 1 mark shall be deducted
  • Unattempted -- Question zero

NEET PG 2022 Syllabus:

The syllabus for the exam shall comprise subject/ knowledge areas as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Government of India.

NEET PG 2022: Scope

NEET PG 2022 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2022-23, which will include the following:

  1. All India 50 percent quota seats for all states/union territories of India.
  2. State quota seats for all states/union territories of India.
  3. All private medical colleges, institutions, and universities/deemed universities all across the country
  4. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
  5. Post MBBS DNB Courses and Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses.
