NEET UG 2022 notification to be out soon

NEET UG 2022: The official notification of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2022 will be released soon by the National Testing Agency, NTA.

The NEET 2022 is expected to be held in June or July. Further, more details of the NEET 2022 will be published soon. Last year, NTA conducted the NEET UG on September 12, 2021, and declared the result on November 1, 2021.

Educational Qualification
Candidates need to clear 12th class with Medical Subjects.

Age Limits
The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years from the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and PwBD Candidates. Meanwhile, candidates are advised to wait for the release of official notification as there may be some changes in the upper age limit.

NEET 2022? How to Apply?
Aspiring candidates can apply for NEET 2022 by visiting the official website and following the instructions given there.

  • Step 1: Log on to the official website, ntaneet.nic.in.
  • Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link which says, "NEET (UG) - 2022 - Registration".
  • Step 3: Make your login account by entering all the required details.
  • Step 4: Upload all the required documents and pay the fees.
  • Step 5: Click on submit.

NEET 2022 Exam Pattern
NEET (UG) is a pen & paper-based test, to be answered on a specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using a ballpoint pen.

The duration of the test would be three hours.

NEET (UG)-2022 will comprise of two sections. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 questions and Section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.

Each question carries 04 (four) marks and, for each correct answer, the candidate will get 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. To answer a question, the candidate has to find, for each question, the correct answer/best option.
