UPPSC PCS Exam 2013 to Included Aptitude in Prelims

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) included the ‘aptitude section’ in its UPPCS Prelim exam 2013 on the pattern of the IAS –CSAT. The details were divulged recently through a notification for 2013. They have notified for both the general and the physically handicapped (backlog/special recruitment) categories.

The Preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory papers of which answer sheet be on OMR sheets.  Both the papers will be 200 marks each and have 150-100 objective Type & multiple choice questions.

The examination will be of two hours durations with timing of Paper I from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and for Paper II from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

In order to apply in the UPPCS prelims exam 2013, interested eligible candidates can apply online through UPPSC’s website till 25 April 2013, after which the link will be disabled. On-line Application is in three parts -- Part-I, Part-II and Part-III.
