CAT 2014 result today

CAT 2014 exam result will be announced on the official website today i.e 27^th Dec, 2014.  The exam is conducted by IIM, Indore to helps candidates get admission to any of the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management).

While reporting the result, scaled scores for each section (Section I: Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, section II: Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning) and total score along with the percentile shall be published.

For each correct answer, three points were awarded to the examinee. That means, the total maximum score in CAT 2014 will be 300 since the total number of questions will be 100. The test had two sections of 50 questions each. The two sections were - Quantitative Ability (QA) and Data Interpretation (DI) and the other section included Verbal Ability (VA) and Logical Reasoning (LR).

For each incorrect answer, one point is deducted. There will be no penalty for questions that were left unanswered.
