GATE 2016 last date on October 1

Last date for GATE 2016 to be conducted  will end on October 1. Candidates can visit the official website i.e gate.iisc.ernet.in.

Eligibility Conditions

The candidates willing to apply should have obtained either of the following degree/certificate:

1. B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm.
2. B. Arch.
3. B.Sc.(Research)/B.S.
4. M. Sc./M.A./MCA or equivalent
5. Int. M.E/M.Tech(Post-B.Sc.)
6. Int. M.E./ M.Tech or Dual Degree(after Diploma or 10+2)
7. Int. M.Sc/Int. B.S.-M.S.
8. Professional Society Examinations (equivalent to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch.)

How to Apply:

Candidates can apply through the official website. The candidates must note that they should not send any hard copy of their application form/documents etc., to IISc or any of the IIT's zonal GATE office. T

A new paper Petroleum Engineering (PE) has been introduced in GATE 2016 there by making it to a total of 23 papers.  

The GATE is jointly administered by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee).
