CUCET MBA Entrance Exam 2016 dates announced

The CUCET MBA Entrance Exam 2016 dates have been released. Interested candidates can apply for the same. Central Universities of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu have jointly announced the exam dates for CUCET 2016.

Educational Qualifications:

The candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in any stream. The aspirants who have appeared in their final year exam may also apply.

How to Apply:

Candidates have to apply online in the prescribed format through the CECT official website, the link for which is www.cucet16.co.in.

Syllabus for MBA Program:

The entrance exam will comprise of four sections-- English/verbal ability, maths/quantitative ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning.

English/Verbal Ability:
Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc.

Maths/Quantitative Ability:
Number systems, geometry, trigonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

Data Interpretation:
Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), Venn diagram, etc.

Logical Reasoning:
Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview.
