The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong has invited applications from eligible candidates for providing admission to:

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For B.Tech Programme:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have passed Class12 in science stream or its equivalent from any recognised board and must have secured a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subjects (relaxable by 5 percent for SC/ST candidates).
For B.Arch Programme:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks (relaxable by 5 percent for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate at the higher secondary or equivalent with physics, mathematics and chemistry/computer science as subjects of examination at class 12 level.
For M.Tech Programme:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must be holding B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree and must have secured a minimum of 60 percent aggregate marks (relaxable by 5 percent for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Procedure:
For B.Tech:
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of (JEE) (Main) score and/or entrance examination conducted by the concerned department.
For Lateral entry to B.Tech:
On the basis of the score obtained in LEEE-2016 (Lateral Entry Entrance Examination - 2016), a merit list will be prepared by the department.
For B.Arch:
On the basis of the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) score conducted by Council of Architecture, the candidates will be shortlisted.
For M.Tech:
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE score and/or entrance examination conducted by the concerned department.
How to Apply:
Aspiring candidates are required to obtain the application form from the official website nehu.ac.in. They are then required to send the completed form along with all other relevant documents to the heads of the respective departments at 'NEHU, Permanent Campus, Mawkynroh-Umshing, Shillong-793022 or NEHU, Tura Campus, Chandmari, Tura - 794002'.
