CTET September 2016 notification released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding CTET 2016.

The CBSE will be conducting the 10th edition of CTET on September 18, 2016 for the candidates to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class 1 to class 8.

Candidates interested in applying should fill the online application form before July 18, 2016.

Aspiring candidates can visit the official website and follow the instructions given there.

Application fees:

• Candidates belonging to the general/OBC category will have to pay a sum of Rs 600, for one paper and Rs 1000 in case they want to appear for both the papers.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Differently-abled category will have to pay a sum of Rs 300, for one paper and Rs 500 in case they want to appear for both the papers.
