IIT Bhubaneswar invites applications for PG admissions 2017

Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar has invited applications for admission to:

•  Master of Technology (M.Tech) and
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme

offered in the various specializations for the academic session 2017.

Eligibility Conditions

For PhD programme in Engineering:
Aspiring candidates should have acquired a Master's degree in Technology (MTech) or Master's in Engineering (ME) from a recognised university or institute

For PhD programme in basic sciences:
Aspiring candidates must have a Bachelor's of Science (BSc) degree from a recognised university or institute.

For M.Tech programmes:
Aspiring candidates should have obtained a Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering from a recognised university or institute.

How to apply?

Aspiring candidates can visit the official website i.e iitbbs.ac.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Application fee:

For M.Tech programme:

• General and OBC candidates: Rs.300
• SC/ST/PwD candidates: Rs.150

For PhD programme:

• General and OBC candidates: Rs.500
• SC/ST/PwD candidates: Rs.250

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance on GATE score card.
