Kerala government has invited applications for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2017). The exam is scheduled to be held on August 12 and 19 and the admit cards for the same will be available from August 1.
KTET is conducted to assess the quality of teacher candidates for lower primary, upper primary and high school classes in Kerala. The conduct of the examination is entrusted with Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala.
Selection Categories
The KTET 2017 selection will comprise four categories:
The first three categories will be for teacher posts of lower primary, upper primary and high school classes. The last category will be for language teachers in Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu (up to upper primary level), specialist teachers and physical education teachers (up to high school level).
Pass Percentage
Candidate who scores 60% or more in the K-TET examination will be considered 'KTET passed' or 'K-TET qualified'. There shall be no negative marking in the test.
