75% per cent attendance compulsory for appearing in UP Board 10th and 12th class exams.

Students appearing for UP board class 10, 12 exams will now have to possess at least 75% attendance for appearing in the same.  Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad stated that all those students whose attendance is below 75% cent will be debarred from sitting in the exams.

The online registration process for next year's exams have begun for both private and regular students on July 20. The last date to submit the duly filled form is October 10.

UP Board has 20,945 schools affiliated to it.
