The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 registration will begin from today i.e. 9th August. All the interest candidate can visit the official website isiimcat.ac.in to apply for the same.
Educational qualification:
Those candidates who are willing to appear for the examination need to possess at least a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised institute/university.
Candidates who are in their final year or are waiting for results to be declared are also eligible to apply.
The Indian Institute of Management, Luck now will conduct computer-based CAT 2017 on November 26 in two sessions. The examination is held by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes.
Last date of CAT 2017 application process would be September 20 till 5 pm only. Last year, 2,32,434 candidates applied for CAT.

Selection Procedure:
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) followed by Personal Interviews (PI) round.
Moreover, in a meeting held with the Directors of the IIMs, the Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar has announced to increase the intake capacity to Rs.20,000.
