NIFT 2018 registration process started

The registration process for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Examination 2018 has started on the website, nift.ac.in

How to apply?

Aspiring candidates have to visit the official website  i.e http://www.nift.ac.in/ of the institute and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

For Bachelor of Design:
Aspiring candidates need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board or university.

For Bachelor of Fashion Technology (Apparel Production) (BFTech):
Aspiring candidates need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board or university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Application fee:

• For General/OBC (Non-Creamy) category: Rs 1,500
• For SC/ ST/ PWD category: Rs 750

Reservation of seats:

The seats reserved for SC/ST/Person with Disability (PWD)/Foreign Nationals/SAARC/NR/State Domicile, in each programme are as under:

• SC: 15 %
• ST:  7.5 %
• OBC (non-creamy): 27 %
• Person With Disability (PWD): 5 %

• Application form available online: 06th November, 2012 to 14th January, 2013
  Last date for submission: 14th January, 2013
  Availability of admit card on or after: 30th January, 2013
  Paper Based Test (PBT) entrance examination for all programmes: 10th February, 2013, Sunday
  Computer Based Test (CBT) entrance exam: 06th-07th April, 2013
  Entrance exam result: 15th April, 2013
