BSc Optometry or Bachelor of Science in Optometry or Ophthalmic Optics is an undergraduate Optometric course. Optometry is a branch of medicine dealing with the health of the eyes and associated components. The examination, diagnosis, and treatment of eyes, including visual and optical symptoms, refractive problems, and their correction using lenses and other optical aids, are all included in the Bachelor of Science in Optometry degree program.

The study of vision screening (eye testing), diagnosis of visual problems, orthoptics, and vision training, optometric counseling of patients with partial sight, color blindness, and hereditary vision defects, and designing and fitting of spectacles, contact lenses, and low vision aids are all covered in the Bachelor of Science in Optometry degree program.
