Diploma in Watershed Management is a 12th level Agriculture Science and Technology course. Watershed management is the process of creating and implementing plans, programs, and projects to sustain and enhance watershed functions that affect the plant, animal, and human communities within a watershed boundary. During the Diploma in Watershed Management course, stress is paid on capacity building and human resource development to realize the desired objectives of watershed development projects by their effective and efficient planning and implementation. The minimum time of the course is one year and that of the maximum is four years. This course may be offered by some certain institutes on a part-time basis as well.
