MA Museology or Master of Arts in Museology is a postgraduate Archaeology course. Museology is the diachronic study of museums and how they formed and developed in their position as educational apparatus in the face of social and political forces. Museology courses are often two years long, however, this might vary from school to institute. The program is organized into four six-month semesters.
