MFA Filmmaking or Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking program is a highly specialized degree that includes extensive study in narrative storytelling, screenplay, directing, cinematography, editing, producing, and post-production sound design. In this hands-on graduate degree, students learn by doing, learning conventional and digital cinema while tackling tough creative film projects of increasing complexity.
Students will learn how to express a distinct vision and achieve competence in cinematic narrative and film production. The Filmmaking graduate program is challenging and is intended for students who are willing to commit to a full-time, concentrated, and demanding curriculum.
