MPA Dance or Master of Performing Arts in Dance is a two-year postgraduate degree that will assist students enhance their creative skills while also advancing their studies in a more specialized sector, such as choreography, therapy, administration, teaching, and performance. This course has a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches, on-site collaboration, screen-based practice, and investigating the theoretical underpinnings of dance forms. The administrative component of the course trains students for self-management, promotion, and marketing in the performing arts industry, while the theoretical component deepens students' understanding of dance performance and production design.

Students can pick their topic of specialty and construct professional projects under the supervision of qualified teachers beginning in the second semester to build their practice with a distinct vision.

MPA Dance Eligibility

  • The candidates must have qualified for their Bachelor's degree in any relevant field or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The students should have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's.
