M.Sc. Applied Geography or Master of Science in Applied Geography is a postgraduate Geography course. Applied Geography is the application of geographical knowledge and skills to the resolution of real-world social, economic and environmental problems. The course includes remote sensing and spatial analysis (GIS) and is particularly suitable if you wish to obtain a broad overview of the subject, with scope for specialization. Applied geography includes such sub-fields as environmental management, GIS, cartography, land use planning, location analysis, land management, transportation systems planning, applied physical geography, geographic aspects of environmental law and spatial modeling. The course is two years duration and it has four semesters syllabus. M.Sc. Applied Geography is an important and career orienting in nature which opens a lot of job scopes for the candidates after its passing.

M.Sc. Applied Geography Eligibility

  • Students should have passed a bachelor's degree with science subjects such as (Chemistry, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry) with a minimum of Second Class securing at least 55% of the aggregate marks
