Ph.D. Electrical Engineering or Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering is a Doctorate course. The duration of the program is a minimum of two years from the date of registration (3 years for external candidates) and maximum of 5-6 years. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is an academic doctoral degree designed mainly for full-time students interested in an academic, laboratory, and/or an industrial research and development career in a specialization within electrical engineering. It is a specialized degree, built on a broad base of science, mathematics, and engineering skills. The course program must reflect competency in Electrical Engineering and specialized study in other areas relevant to the student's research focus. After completing the doctorate degree scholars need to submit their “thesis” and then they deserve the respective degree.
