CSIR CASE 2024 - Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Combined Administrative Services Examination acronym CSIR CASE is conducted by CSIR on an India basis for recruitment to the posts of Assistants (General / Finance & Account / Store & Purchase) Grade I, open to Indian Nationals only.

These assistants are paid Rs. 9,300 - Rs. 34,800 Grade Pay-Rs. 4,200 + Allowance as per Central Government rules, as made applicable to CSIR.

CSIR CASE Exam 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidates must possess an including CSIR departmental candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in any discipline as of 31st December 2024.

Age limits

A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 30 years in the year he is taking the exam.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1963 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Reservations as per governmental norms are applicable regarding age limits and job vacancies.

CSIR CASE Exam 2024 Syllabus

CSIR CASE consists of questions from the following subjects/topics:

• CSIR CASE will be an objective type multiple choice type of exam consisting of two papers as given below.
• Those candidates who score minimum cut-off marks in the examination (Paper I and II), as may be fixed by CSIR at its discretion, will be called for an interview.
• CSIR may fix separate minimum cut-off marks for Paper-I and Paper-II.

Written Exam

Note: There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

Interview/Personality Test: The written exam will be followed by an Interview of 100 Marks.

How to apply for CSIR CASE 2024?

Candidates are required to apply On-Line only using the appropriate online application link available on the CSIR website. Candidate must upload the recent clearly visible colour passport size photograph (.jpg format only, max size 100 KB) in the space provided on the online application form. Application without a photo will be considered incomplete and shall be rejected forthwith.
