GMAT comprises multiple-choice questions.
The Analytical Writing Test:
- This test consists of a 30-minute essay analysing an argument.
- You will have to analyse the reasoning behind the argument and write a critique of it.
- The theme of the argument will relate to general themes related to cases or other topics.
- Specific knowledge of the theme of the dissertation will not be necessary because it is only your ability to write analytically that is evaluated for this section.
The Integrated Reasoning Section:
- This 30-minute section has 12 questions designed to measure your ability to evaluate data in a variety of formats from different sources.
- The competencies evaluated are as follows: organize information to highlight the resolutions to the proposed problems and synthesize the information presented on graphs, in texts or in numerical form.
- The skills assessed in this section are very important in management training as well as in the business world, rich in numerical and numerical data.
The Quantitative Section:
- This 75-minute section includes 37 questions that measure your ability to solve quantitative problems, reason quantitatively, and interpret graphical data.
- Two types of questions are connected in this section: problem-solving and data sufficiency.
- These require knowledge of arithmetic, elementary algebra, and basic concepts of geometry.
- This section assesses reasoning skills as opposed to latent skills in mathematics.
The Oral Section:
- This 75-minute test contains 41 questions that measure your ability to read and understand written material, evaluate and reason arguments, and correct written material to meet standards.
- Written English, Written comprehension, sentence correction, and critical reasoning issues are intrinsically linked in this section.
