IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 – Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academy Commercial Pilot License Entrance Exam acronym as IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam is conducted by the Institute for providing admission to the Commercial Pilot License course in IGRUA - one of India’s best flying institutes-. The total number of seats for different categories of candidates will be as follows:

Note: In case SC/ST and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written-test, the seats would be de-reserved for General Category.

Important: Candidates can also opt for B.Sc.(Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. The duration of this course will be 03 years.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

For General Candidates

• Aspiring students should have passed English at 10+2 level with a minimum of 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics.

For SC/ST/OBC Candidates

• Aspiring students should have Passed English at 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics.

Age Limits

• 17 years at the time of joining the institute.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Syllabus

IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam consists of questions from the following subjects/topics of +2 level.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Pattern

IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam consists of Written Test (containing objective-type questions) followed by  Viva/Interview and a Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam Selection Process

The total number of shortlisted candidates after the written examination will be generally three times the total seats in the order of Written Test Merit. The cutoff marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be 5% less than the cut-off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category.

Interview/Viva

All shortlisted candidates will be required to produce the following  documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of the interview:

• Proof of Date of Birth ( such as the 10th Class certificate )
• 10th Mark sheet
• 10+2 Mark sheet
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates
• A Certificate from the Competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to the Creamy layer.

Pilot Aptitude Test/Psychometric Test

• Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection - No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test.

Commitment  Money

• Selected Candidates will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) to secure their seats within Three weeks of the declaration of the final result.

How to Apply for IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024?

Aspiring candidates can apply for IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam by submitting the application in the prescribed format available on the IGRUA website i.e., www.igrua.gov.in /

 Documents to be attached along with the Application Form:

• One Passport size photo is pasted on the Application form and another is enclosed.
• Prescribed Fee Draft.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Dates

IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam will be held in the month of October.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Test Centers

IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam will be held in all the major cities of India. Whereas IGRUA CPL Course Entrance Exam will be held at Raebareli.

Note: IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if the numbers of Applicants for the Center are inadequate.

IGRUA CPL Entrance Exam 2024 Fee

The application fee for the exam is as follows:

• For the General, OBC, and EWS candidates - Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable).
• The fee is to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India either by internet banking or debit/credit cards or through Bank Challan.

Note: SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
