Aspiring candidates should have passed 4 years of B.E / B.Tech degree from a recognized Institute of Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control and Instrumentation Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in Class X, XII, and B.E / B.Tech. |

JIPT Entrance Exam consists of questions from the relevant subjects of the qualifying examination.
JIPT Entrance Exam consists of a written Exam having Objective Type questions followed by a Personal Interview.
Aspiring candidates can apply for JIPT by visiting the official website of the institute i.e jipt.org. Candidates have to send by speed post the duly filled form along with DD of a required fee to Jindal Institute of Power Technology, Tamnar, Raigarh - 496108
JIPT Entrance Exam is normally held in the month of June.
The examination fee for taking this exam is Rs. 1000/- only to be paid in the form of a DD favoring JIPT payable at Raigarh.
