LPUNEST PhD. 2023 Eligibility  

Educational Qualification

• Aspiring candidates should have passed a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate and should fulfil other requirements set by the university at the time.

LPUNEST PhD 2023 Syllabus 

LPU NEST PhD exam consists of questions from the relevant qualifying degree. For more details about the syllabus, candidates can check the brochure by visiting the University website i.e., www.lpu.in. or http://nest.lpu.in/

LPUNEST PhD 2023 Pattern

LPU NEST PhD exam consists of objective multiple-choice types questions from the concerned qualifying Master’s Degrees in two schedules i.e. Schedule I and Schedule II.

Exemption from Entrance Test

Candidates do not need to appear in the LPU NEST PhD exam who qualify for the following exam/degree such as given below.

• UGC/CSIR (JRF) Examination
• SLET (Punjab only)
• GATE/ GPET/ ICAR Teacher Fellowship
• A pass in M.Phil Programme (in regular mode only)

Note: After qualifying for the written test the candidate will be selected finally based on the performance in Interview i.e. final selection criteria.

Scholarship/Fellowship

• candidates are given scholarships according to their performance in the LPU NEST PhD exam and it is Rs.1,80,000/- per student on a maximum basis.
• PhD candidates are given a fellowship of Rs. 12000/- per month during the programme for up to three years.

Reservation

• Candidates who belonged to reserved categories are given relaxation as per rules.
• It is 5 % for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and differently-abled candidates.
