MAH B.Ed CET 2024 - Maharashtra Bachelor of Education Common Entrance Test acronym as MAH B.Ed. CET is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education Maharashtra for admission to B.Ed. course in the Government, Non-Government Aided, Unaided, Permanent Aided, and Non-Government Aided, Unaided and Permanently Non-Aided Minority colleges of Education in Maharashtra.

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

For Maharashtra State

• Aspiring candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with subjects in Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Humanity Sciences, and Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for BC of Maharashtra state). OR
• The aspiring candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering and Technology, Bachelor’s Degree with the subjects like Management, Engineering, Computers, Law, IT, Agriculture, BBI, Medical Sciences, All Social Sciences, Fine Art, Performing Art with 55% marks (50% for BC of Maharashtra state). OR
• Aspiring candidates should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree given by Open University Incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature. OR
• Aspiring candidates should have appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature. 

For Candidates Outside Maharashtra State

• Aspiring candidates should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate degree awarded by any of the Universities in setting up by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act,1956, with a minimum of 55% marks for all Categories.

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Syllabus

MAH B.Ed CET consists of questions from the following subjects/topics.

Mental Ability

• The content of this test aims to judge your reasoning power.
• It also helps to judge how accurate you can think.
• This test will contain questions based on Series, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Relationship, Analogies, Classification, Problems on Dice, etc., either in Verbal or Non-Verbal form.

General Knowledge

• The aim of this section is to test how well you are acquainted with the happenings in the surroundings at Local, National, and International Level including Past Events, Current Affairs, Science and Technology, History, Geography, Civics, Political Science and Literature in General.

Teacher Aptitude

• The test aims to know your capacity to become a teacher.
• It will contain questions related to your keenness to update your knowledge, leadership qualities awareness about changes in Education and Society, Communication and Professional Commitment, etc.

For English Language Content Test (ELCT)

• Figures of Speech 
• Grammar Focus
• Phonetics 
• Reading Comprehension
• Sentence Formation
• Vocabulary Focus 
• Verbal Idioms and Proverbs

MAH B.Ed CET 2024 Pattern

MAH B.Ed. CET consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Note: MAH B.Ed. CET medium will be English and Marathi.

Imp: There is No Negative Marking in the exam i.e. deduction of one mark for one wrong response.

A pattern for English Language Content Test (ELCT)

ELCT will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.  

Note: There is No Negative Marking for a wrong reply. It will be Online in the English medium.
