Educational Qualification
- Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State / OMS / J&K Migrants / GoI / NRI / PIO / Foreign National / Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries candidates and other details for HMCT are as follows:
- Aspiring candidates must have passed/appeared the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science / Home Science / MCVC / Commerce / Arts with English as one of the subjects and Secured minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for backward class & Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

MAH HM CET 2024 Pattern
- The MAH HM CET will be an online test consisting of one question paper of a maximum of 100 marks (to be completed in 90 Minutes duration) to test the aptitude of the candidate for the Hotel Management and Catering Technology degree course.
- The question paper for the CET will be set in English only.
- Translations in any other language will not be available.
How to Apply for MAH HM CET Exam 2024?
- For Applying for MAH HM CET aspiring candidates will be able to submit and confirm the Online Application form through the official website i.e. www.dte.org.in.
- The application ID is activated by the ARC from where Application Kit is purchased.
- For the submission and confirmation of the online Application Form, the candidates are required to use the Application ID and Password provided in the Application Kit. Candidates are also required to upload his/her photo and signature as per the instructions are given in the Application Kit.
- Candidates are advised to preserve the Application Kit carefully and not to disclose the Application ID & Password to others to avoid impersonation.
- In order to take the printout of the Online submitted Application form and the printout of the Hall Ticket for the MAH HM CET, it is mandatory for all the candidates to confirm the Online submitted Application form and such applications only will be considered valid for further processing.
- Applications sent by Post/ Courier etc. to ARCs/ DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be done with the candidates.
- It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of the Document verification stage as per schedule.
- The candidates should report to the examination center half an hour before the examination. Candidates may also approach designated ARC’s to scan & upload photos, submit & confirm the Online Application Form. Candidates are required to pay facilitation/ support charges of Rs. 50/- in cash towards scanning, printing, etc. at these centers.

- For general category candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and J&K Migrant candidates is Rs. 800/-
- For reserved category candidates of Backward Class (ST, SC, VJDT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC), and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only is Rs. 600/-
