SET 2023 Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• Aspiring Students with 10+2 or equivalent pass examinations in a relevant stream from a recognized board or university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category students). OR
• Students who appeared in 12 classes or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. OR
• Applicants with completed 10+2 Class or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) at the time.

Note: There are also category-wise reservation rules to be followed during admission.

The SET exam consists of questions from the following subjects/topics.

SET 2023 Pattern

The SET exam will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be two sessions i.e. morning/evening. The number of questions and marks according to subjects is given below. 

Imp. There is no Negative Marking for incorrectly marked answers and all sections are mandatory.

The SET exam is normally held in the month of May/June.

How to Apply for SET 2023?

Aspiring candidates can log on to the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) website (www.set-test.org) for submitting applications and other required documental formalities.

• Students can pay application fees both online and offline through credit/debit cards or net banking or through Demand Draft.
• After the SET result, candidates are required to book their seats for PI-WAT by paying Rs. 1000/- as a PI-WAT fee. After the PI-WAT process is done, the final merit list is published.
