KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Study and Research Entrance Exam 2014 - KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research Entrance Exam acronym as SIMSR PGDM Entracne Exam and also known as Somaiya Admission Test (SAT) is conducted by KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research for providing admission to a two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management programmes given below:
Graduates-at least a three year bachelor’s degree- in any discipline with an aggregate of 50%or more marks are eligible to apply of KJ SIMSR entrance exam process.
Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply subject to their completion of the degree course with requisite percentage of marks prior to the commencement of the PGDM program i.e. July month of the respective year.
How to apply for KJ SIMSR Entrance Exam?
The Institute will use / GMAT / CAT / XAT / MH CET / CMAT / ATMA / MAT scores (based on the CAT, to be conducted by IIMs in Oct / Nov ) as the first stage of admission process.
The Institute reserves the right to use relevant work experience as additional parameter for short listing candidates for the second stage of admission process.
Students who have NRI / PIO status can submit their GMAT score (for the test taken in last two years) to be used as the criteria for short listing into the second stage of the admission process.
It is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to this Institute to:
- Online through credit card payment, or
- Demand Draft for Rs.1550 in favour of “K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research” payable at Mumbai, or
- Receipt of Learning Center (IMS / Career Forum / Career Launcher / Professional Tutorials).
7. Send the following documents to the Institute in an envelope:
- Filled up application form with photograph pasted at the appropriate place.
- Attested photocopies of the Work Experience Certificates and latest pay slip (to claim credits for work experience), if any, along with the filled up application form.
- Photo copy of CAT Admit Card / GMAT Score Card.
- Demand Draft and / or Receipt of Learning Center (as applicable).
