TANCET MCA 2024 - Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test acronym TANCET is conducted by TNSF - Consortium i.e., Consortium of Self-Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. The test is basically conducted for those candidates who are interested to join MBA, MCA, ME and M.Tech courses available in the listed colleges coming under the TNSF - Consortium in the management quota seats.

This MCA Entrance Exam is a multiple-choice-based entrance exam, with negative markings for wrong answers.
The two-hours paper comprises 100 questions of one mark each comprising of the following given topics:-

Each question shall carry 1 mark for the correct answer. For every incorrect answer, one-fourth mark shall be deducted. If a question has not been attempted no credit will be given.
This exam is normally held in the month of March.
Interested candidates can apply for TANCET Online by visiting the official website i.e., annauniv.edu and following the instructions given there.
Candidates have to submit only one application. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on the production of a copy of the Permanent Community Certificate in card format) as an entrance test fee for any one of the programmes either
(1) MBA or
(2) MCA or
(3) M.E / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan
If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he/ she has to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC / SCA / ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu).
The demand draft should be drawn in favour of ‘The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University,’ payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalized bank on or after the mentioned date.
