TAPMI 2014 - T.A. Pai Management Institute commonly known as TAPMI conducts an admission process for admission to its post graduate management programs. Situated in Manipal, Karnataka it is considered to be a highly reputed institute for management education.
TAPMI uses CAT score, past academic record, work experience, extracurricular activities etc for shortlisting candidates for Personal Interview and General Discussion for the final selection process. Thus to apply for admission in TAPMI MBA course, it is mandatory for the aspiring candidates to clear the CAT Exam. Candidates interested in getting admission in TAPMI also have to apply separately for TAPMI.
Eligibility:
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade. Candidates appearing in the Final year exams can also apply subject to their fulfilling the requisite eligibility at the time of admission.
How to apply for TAPMI MBA Entrance Test?
Aspiring candidates can get the handbook of Information on payment of Rs.1500 from the branches/centers of any of the following sources :
Each handbook of Information for Admissions contains a “Coded Payment Voucher” as the last page and the coded number is revealed on scratching the appropriate spot. Once a candidate gets the coded number, he/she must access our On-line Application, fill up the details and submit the same On-line, keying in the coded number.
TAPMI On-line Applications: Candidates could also access On-line Application directly (without buying hard-copies of brochures), fill up the details and submit the Application On-line after making on-line payment through Credit/Debit card or Netbanking. Hence all Applications need to be submitted On-line.
Note: Candidates are cautioned that the “Coded Payment Voucher” is to be carefully handled and adequate secrecy is to be maintained to avoid misuse by strangers. Any candidate receiving the Admissions handbook of information without the Coded payment voucher or with a mutilated voucher must return the same to the seller and get the same replaced.
TAPMI Management Programmes Selection Process
TA Pai Management Institute has adopted a two step process for admitting candidates to its PGDM Programmes. Valid CAT/ GMAT scores are mandatory pre-requisites to qualify for the admission process.
For admission to PGDM (Healthcare Management) alone, the Institute conducts a separate test commonly known as TAPMI Admission Test i.e TAT usually in the month of February of the respective year. However TAT is in addition to letting candidates apply through CAT/GMAT scores for PGDM (HCM).
Based on their scores in CAT / GMAT and academic excellence, work experience, extra-curricular activities, candidates are short-listed and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (GD/PI) to be held at Bangalore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Manipal. Final Selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI Admissions Process.
