Diana College of Nursing: Course of Study

The M.Sc. Nursing course of study shall be for two completed academic years.

* In the first year M. Sc. Nursing course the following three subjects shall be the common subjects to all candidates irrespective of speciality chosen:

• Nursing Education

• Advance Nursing Practice

• Nursing research and Statistics

Candidates may choose any one of the branches of study at the time of admission.

No change of branch of study shall be permitted after a candidate joins the course.

M.Sc. Nursing Specialisations

• Medical surgical nursing

• Obstetrics and Gynecological nursing

• Pediatric (Child Health) nursing

• Psychiatric (Mental health) nursing

• Community health nursing

* In the second year M. Sc. Nursing course the subject “Nursing Management” shall be common to all candidate irrespective of subject speciality chosen.
