Age Limits
The minimum age for entering into any kind of work is 18 years however there is no upper age limit for becoming a Political Analyst.

One as young as an 18-year-old graduate and as old as a Retired Army General can become a Political Analyst depending upon one expertise and knowledge of the field

After passing +2 class preferably (not necessarily) with Political Science or Public administration as the main subjects the aspiring candidate have to apply for the degree course with Political Science or any other related subject as the main course. This will help the aspiring Political analysts to have a strong background of Political Terminology.

Forgetting these degree budding candidates can apply for admission in some reputed institutes like Delhi University, Punjab University.  Some institute may take an entrance test to provide admission to these courses.

Step 2
After completion of Graduation, the aspiring candidates can join some media groups or some political organizations to have firsthand experience of political systems and their working.

Besides aspiring Political Analyst go for higher studies in the related field like doing Masters in Political Science or even doing PhD in some related topics. PG Diploma in Political Affairs can be another option to have a higher knowledge of the system.

Step 3
With all the relevant qualification in hand, the candidates can apply for the position as a Political Analyst with various political parties, Government Departments or Print and Electronic Media.
