International students are sometimes perplexed as to whether they should take IELTS or TOEFL, as colleges all across the world require either exam result. It is up to you as a test taker to choose which of the two examinations to take, but keep in mind that IELTS is favored in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, whilst TOEFL is preferred among candidates to institutions in the United States and Canada.
