Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar University or Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is a public University. It offers with a campus-based and unitary structure with research programs in the social sciences and humanities. The University started functioning in August 2008. It is fully funded by the State Government of the NCT of Delhi. It was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the State Legislature in 2007. The University is named after Dr B.R. Ambedkar, the visionary Indian reformer. The University presently operates from two campuses in Delhi one at Dwarka and the other at Kashmere Gate and its third campus is also under process.

Hostel Facilities - The University has hostel facilities both for men and women at its Dwarka Campus. There may also be hostel facilities available for women at the Kashmere Gate Campus.
Library Facilities - AUD library is functioning in both the two campuses and has air-conditioned and reading room. Library has computerized database of library documents and users. Library has four sections i.e. General Section, Textbook Section, Reference Section and Periodical section.
IT Services Facilities - The Ambedkar University has IT Services division. It has been serving as the backbone for all IT related activities on both Kashmere Gate and Dwarka campuses.
Scholarship / Waiver Facilities - The University provides partial and full fee waivers and scholarships to deserving students.
