M.Tech Nano Science and Technology or Master of Technology in Nano Science and Technology is a postgraduate Nanotechnology course. During the course candidates will learn the basics of physics, biology, and chemistry at the nanometre scale, topped with courses on technology and engineering to ensure practical know-how. The program fits into the growing worldwide convergence between these different basic sciences, and between science, technology, and engineering sciences in general.

The Master of Technology program in Nano Science and Technology studies the relationship between artificial and biological systems on a Nano-meter scale and their application in various fields. The Master's degree course develops an understanding of related disciplines such as Nanoelectronics, Nanomedicine, Nanooptics, Nanobiotechnology, Nanomaterials, Nanomechanics, and Nanoparticles & Nanomaterials. Nanotechnology aims at the design and creation of functional materials, structures, devices, and systems through direct control of matter on the nanometres length scale and exploitation of novel phenomena and properties on this length scale. The Master's degree program is two years and its syllabus is divided into four semesters.
