UPSC CDS II Exam 2020 notification for filling up 344 vacancies released

UPSC CDS II Exam 2020: The Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020 official notification has been released by the Union Public Service Commission. All the interested candidates can visit the official website i.e upsc.gov.in and follow the instructions given there to apply for the same. The UPSC CDS II 2020 will be conducted for filling up 344 vacancies. The break up of vacancies will be as follows:

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course: 26
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad-(Pre-Flying): 32
Officers' Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) for men: 169
Officers Training Academy, Chennai for women: 17

Eligibility Conditions

Educational Qualification

For I.M.A. and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised university/institution.
For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Note: Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

Log on to the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in
On the homepage, under "What's New" click on "Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020"
Search for "Click Here" and you will be directed to a new page
Click on "Part I registration" and fill basic information
Then, click on "Part-II Registration" and pay the application fee and upload required documents
Click on "I agree" button, a page with registration number will be generated
An auto-generated email message will be sent on your registered email-id.

UPSC CDS II 2020: An application fee to be paid by candidates

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs 200.

Mode of Payment
Either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.
