UPSC CDS I 2022 Notification released: Apply for 341 posts

The Union Public Service Commission has released the official notification for Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2022. Which will be held to fill the following vacancies

Indian Military Academy, Dehradun- 154th (DE) Course commencing in January 2023: 100
Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course commencing in January 2023 Executive Branch (General Service)/Hydro: 22
Air Force Academy, Hyderabad-(Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January 2023 i.e. No. 213 F(P) Course: 32
Officers' Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) - 117th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2023: 170
Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 31st SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2023: 17

Educational Qualifications:

For IMA and Officers' Training Academy, Chennai: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
For the Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
For Air Force Academy: Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

UPSC CDS I 2022: How to apply

Candidates are required to apply online using the link www.upsconline.nic.in. The applicants are advised to submit only a single application. However, due to any unavoidable situation, if he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that the application with the higher RID (Registration ID) is complete in all respects like applicants details, examination center, photograph, signature, fee, etc.

UPSC CDS 1 2022 Scheme of Examination:

The competitive examination comprises:
(a) Written examination
(b) Interview for the intelligence and personality test (vide Part 'B' of this Appendix) of such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection Centres.
