UPSC IES ISS 2014 Exam Centres list available to download

UPSC has released the list of Exam centres for IES and ISS examination, to be held on May 24, 2014. Candidates can know their exam centre by entering their Registration ID, Roll number and date of birth on the official website i.e http://upsc.gov.in/Query/ies-iss/ies_venue_query.htm

Exam centers for IES ISS 2014 are:

11. Jaipur

13. Kolkata

A total of 38 vacancies are available at Junior Times scale, Indian Economic Service has 15 openings and Indian Statistic Services has 23 openings.

 The recruitment is done in 2 parts, with a 1000 marks written test and then a 200 marks interview. Both the Indian Economic Services and Indian Statistic Services are classified as Group A.

To be eligible for the Indian Economic Service (IES) the candidate should have completed post graduate degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Business Economics or Econometrics from a recognized University.

Similarly, to be eligible for the Indian Statistic Service (ISS) the candidate should have a post graduate degree in Statistics or Applied Statistics or Mathematical Statistics from a recognized University.
