Last Date to apply for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is 1st Jan, 2015. Both male and female candidates can apply for AFCAT 2015 to be conducted on February 22, 2015. AFCAT will held for the following given vacancies.
Eligibility Conditions:
Eligibility for Flying Branch:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course)from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
Eligibility for Technical Branch:
I- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) -
Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.
II- Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) -
Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.
Eligibility for Ground Duty Branch
I- Administration & Logistics-
Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
II- Accounts-
Graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com)(Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M Com) / CA/ ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
III- Education-
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
Selection Procedure:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/test conducted by the organization.
