B.E (Geo-Informatics) or Bachelor of Engineering in Geo Informatics is an Under-Graduate Civil Engineering course. Geo-informatics is a science that develops and uses information science infrastructure to address the problems of geography, geosciences and related branches of engineering. Geo-Informatics combines geospatial analysis and modelling, development of geospatial databases, information systems design, human-computer interaction and both wired and wireless networking technologies.
Geo-Informatics Technologies include geographic information systems, spatial decision support systems, global positioning systems (GPS), and remote sensing. Geo-Informatics uses geo-computation for analyzing geoinformation. The duration of the Bachelor of Engineering course in Geo-Informatics is four years and it provides many jobs.
