M.Tech Highway Technology or Master of Technology in Highway Technology is a Post-Graduate Civil Engineering course. Highway Technologies is a national pioneer in offering temporary and permanent solutions for roadway traffic safety. The Master of Technology program in Highway Technology focuses on traffic and ecological studies in the planning and building of highways, bridges, and drainage.

The student is also exposed to highway construction and administration, pavements, preventive and corrective strategies for pavement problems, modern technology in highway design, and lying. Highway Technologies provides traffic safety services and equipment to the road repair, construction, and maintenance industries. These services and equipment include a variety of concepts that use computers, telecommunications equipment, and control systems to improve vehicle performance and/or guideway operation and control. Advanced roadway technology may aid in the management of issues such as highway and air transportation system congestion, infrastructure deterioration, petroleum reliance, air pollution, and safety concerns.

M.Tech Highway Technology Eligibility

  • The aspiring students should have completed a BE / B.Tech degree in a relevant subject or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor's.
  • Some of the very reputed universities and colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission.
