MSc Counseling and Family Therapy or Master of Science in Counseling and Family Therapy is a two-year Post-Graduate program. The Counseling and Family Therapy course is designed to help students become competent in the application of theory-based counseling models, understand the concerns of diverse client populations, improve students' personal and professional development, and promote the dignity and welfare of all individuals.
The Master of Science in Counseling and Family Therapy program trains graduates to work toward the goal of developing healthy families. The Counseling and Family Therapy program also prepares students to achieve the academic criteria for family therapy licensing (LMFT) by the Commonwealth's Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions.
