M.Sc Fashion & Textile Merchandising or Master of Science in Fashion & Textile Merchandising is a Post-Graduate Fashion Designing course. In the Fashion & Textiles Merchandising course, students will learn how to design and then market and sell their own designs, but will not make them themselves.

The course is related to consumer demand for apparel and related products. History, social and cultural developments, types of retail environments, and merchandising strategies are critically analyzed. Concepts of market intelligence, merchandising styling, sourcing, and buying office functions for each type of store are compared. Fashion business practices, the role of buying (in various settings), and evaluation of ‘trade’ are interpreted for the development of merchandise plans for a particular fashion retail enterprise. The duration of the course is two years.
