MTech (Earth System Science and Technology) or Master of Technology in Earth System Science and Technology is a full-time two-year Post-Graduate Geology course. The study of the Earth as an integrated system with its primary components of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere is known as Earth system science.

The Master of Technology in Earth System Science and Technology course examines the physical world, its atmosphere, the seas, their interrelationships, and even the earth's link to the Universe as a whole. The Earth System Science and Technology program contributes to the improvement of our capability and operational prediction systems for understanding, observing, modeling, and forecasting these interactions at various geographical and temporal scales.

MTech (Earth System Science and Technology) Eligibility

  • The aspiring students should have passed their Graduation degrees such as a BTech / BE in Chemical / Petro-Chemical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
  • The candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent in their Bachelor's.
  • Some of the very reputed universities and institutes conduct an entrance examination for admission.
