M.Tech. Petroleum Technology or Master of Technology in Petroleum Technology is a postgraduate Petroleum Engineering course. Petroleum technology is the discipline concerned with the activities related to the production of hydrocarbons, which can be either crude oil or natural gas. Petroleum technology covers many activities from the discovery of natural sources, the examination of the natural characteristics and the development of modern machinery for the extraction and processing of petroleum.
