Educational Qualification

For B.A (Hons.) (Regular)

• Aspiring candidates should have passed 12th class from a recognised school board with 45% marks or they should possess a Madrasa certificate with 45% marks.

Age Limits

For B.A (Hons.) (Lateral Entry)

• Aspiring candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent degree from a recognised university board with at least 45% marks.

JNU B.A (Hons.) Entrance Exam 2022 Syllabus

JNU B.A Hons Entrance Exam comprises questions from the following language subjects such as given below.

JNU B.A (Hons.) Entrance Exam 2022 Pattern

• JNU B.A Hons Entrance Exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions from the relevant qualifying exams.
• The entrance exam has 4 units i.e., Units 1, 2 & 3 (MCQs) and Unit 4 (subjective).
• The time duration of the question paper is 3 hours and carries a maximum of 100 marks.

Note: There is No Negative Marking, yet, if candidates mark two answers for a single question will be considered an incorrect response.

Reservation

Reservation of seats for various categories is as follows.

• For OBC candidates - 27%
• For SC candidates - 15%
• For ST candidates - 7.5%
• For Physically Challenged (Handicapped) candidates - 3%
